About the Artwork: According to Nicolas Sokoloff, author of The Twelve Signs of the Zodiac in which he had Salvador Dali illustrate in 1967, people of the Gemini zodiac sign refuse to live in the past and use their dreams as motivation. Gemini’s tend to think abstractly first before looking into the concrete facts. Sokoloff also writes that a Gemini never settles on one aspect of life. They are always ready to learn more information by dabbling in different careers or small jobs. For instance, Sokoloff mentions Igor Stravinsky, a Gemini and Russian musician who not only experimented with different musical genres but also diverse musical careers being a pianist, composer, and conductor.
